Kurokawa Gaku
Visual Arts

I studied music and sculpture at university. Mainly I make sculpture and
performance works thinking about the relationship between human’s body
and objects/environment.
It expresses the form and the work of things by trying to capture something
difficult to capture while directly engaging my body with various objects
such as sound, wind, water, and living things.
It is important in my reserch that especially the relationship with material is
replaced by the feeling of ""touching"".
Works that listen to sounds by putting human's heads in stones,
performance works that move objects at the roof of a conception building and
are also participatory performances viewers passing each other on a boat ona lake.
In recent years I also appeared in dance, performance, music work, text etc ..
